The Vacuum Electron Device (VED) IPP provides a forum to advance current and future ideas, technology trends, and policy opportunities. Its purpose is to engage industry, government and military leaders, provide education and awareness resources, and networking/collaboration opportunities to advance leadership, policy, and industry solutions to developing advanced EW technology to support our warfighters in multi-domain operations. It explores how the U.S. Department of Defense, our foreign military partners, and the global defense industrial base are in a strong and cooperative position to advance VED technology, including traveling wave tubes (TWTs), TWT amplifiers (TWTAs), Microwave Power Modules (MPMs), and other power tube technology.

The Association of Old Crows provides a means of connecting members and organizations nationally and internationally across government, defense, industry, and academia to promote the exchange of ideas and information, and provides a platform to recognize advances and contributions in these fields.
