Conference Theme: "Outpacing Adversaries in the Information Warfare Domain by Integrating Cyber, EW, & Special Operations from seabed to space"
Conference Objective: Military operations rely on both Cyberspace Operations and Electronic Warfare (EW) to dominate aspects of the electromagnetic spectrum (EMS). However, the communities in which practice these disciplines, remain largely separated and vary widely across the Department of Defense (DoD) and military Services in terms of their equipment, unit organization, and operating methodologies, despite the convergence of technical capabilities. Modern warfare now employs Cyberspace Operations to provide EW effects, and EW Operations to provide cyberspace effects.
This conference provides the EW and Cyberspace Operation communities an opportunity to collaborate and discuss capabilities, TTPs, and research in EW and Cyberspace Operations in a CLASSIFIED environment to enable rapid deployment of new and improved capabilities. The Cyber/EW Convergence Conference identifies ways to develop advanced technologies and systems to address the changing battlefield dynamics and bring EW and Cyberspace Operations together for the Warfighter!
Conference Location: Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic Cooper River Landing Conference Center (Bldg 3112), Charleston, SC.
This call for presentations challenges presenters to explore enabling collaborative electronic warfare (EW) through innovation and invention. We will accept presentations and/or demonstrations from all United States services, Department of Defense, industry, and academia that identify technical paths, options, and potential opportunities for EW collaboration. Specifically, abstracts should address one or more of the symposium sessions:
Abstracts for presentations must be unclassified and no more than one page of text or 400 words. Please forward unclassified abstracts to Christine Armstrong at firstname.lastname@example.org and Dave Walman at email@example.com NLT March 30, 2020. If your abstract is selected, you will be required to send a classified abstract/briefing to Dave Walman at firstname.lastname@example.org for final review before being accepted into the agenda.
