Colin Lee graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of California, Davis in 2016. He came to work at the Naval Air Warfare Center, China Lake the same year, where he applies deep learning methodologies to improve current Navy capabilities.

Colin Lee is a computer scientist at the Naval Air Warfare Center, China Lake, working in support of both the Machine Intelligence and Learning Initiative (MILI) and the Sensors, Signal Processing, and Exploitation Engineering Division. There, he works as a researcher applying the latest breakthroughs in machine learning to EW systems. He has participated in efforts for the DARPA Media Forensics program, the Extended Range Automatic Targeting (ERAT) Future Naval Capability program, and the Dynamic Real-Time Emitter and Mode Classification (DREAM) program. He currently focuses on deep learning solutions to tactical problems relating to image and signal processing, automatic target recognition, and cognitive electronic warfare.
