Truman Scholar, U.S. Air Force Academy

James Brahm is a 2018 Truman Scholar and cadet at the U.S. Air Force Academy, where he majors in Computer Science and minors in Nuclear Weapons and Mandarin Chinese. He has worked for defense contractor Dynetics, Silicon Valley startup QC Ware, and at the National Security Agency. James competes for Air Force as part of the Cyber Competition Team and commanded USAFA’s Summer Cyber Training Course. He has a patent pending for an embedding caching system for quantum annealing processors, and is a fervid believer in using technology to promote a peaceful and free world.
