Ms. Laura Cawthron

Assistant Program Manager for the Strategic Electronic Warfare Portfolio, Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory

Ms. Cawthron is the Assistant Program Manager for the Strategic Electronic Warfare Portfolio at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory. In this role, she leads and manages a portfolio of analysis efforts to identify strategic EW capability shortfalls and develop recommendations for EW modernization for the Electronic Warfare Executive Committee and the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment.

Prior to Ms. Cawthron’s current position, she was a Senior Electronic Warfare Analyst at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory. She led a variety of analytic and engineering efforts, and provided technical expertise to multiple EW and ISR programs. Before joining Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, Ms. Cawthron was an Airborne Electronic Attack Analyst at Dynamics Analytics and Test, Inc.

Currently, Ms. Cawthron serves on the Association of Old Crows Capitol Club Board of Directors, and as the AOC Capitol Club Treasurer. Ms. Cawthron earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics from George Mason University and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
