Kenneth (Ken) P. Parks is a Principal of Business Development for the Electronic Warfare Business area for Harris - a business area that provides advanced systems and technologies in the areas of integrated electronic warfare systems; satellite systems; C4 systems; and reconnaissance, radar and acoustic systems. In his current position he leads the Harris EW Office in Lexington Park, MD and supports NAVAIR programs.

Ken was appointed to this position in August 2013. In this role, he is responsible for the Business Development efforts at Harris’ Lexington Park, MD location and oversees a NAVAIR focused office whose mission is to increase Harris’ portfolio of products that support and enhance Navy Aviation platforms.

Ken brings over 12 years of diverse defense industry experience and previously served as Manager, Business Development for the Electronic Attack and Release Systems business area within Harris (formerly Exelis). Prior to assuming responsibility for this area, Ken had numerous responsibilities within the larger Electronic Systems Division.

Prior to joining Harris, Ken was the Space and Electronic Warfare Support Manager at Whitney, Bradley and Brown, Inc (WBB). His efforts with WBB in EW and Requirements generation and validation are valuable resources in his current position.

Ken has served on the Association of Old Crows Board of Directors, At-Large, and as the AOC Treasurer. He is a recipient of both the Col. Anton D. Brees Lifetime Achievement (2011) and Stanley B. Hall Business Development (2015) Awards. Ken has received both the Tailhook Association’s “Tailhooker of the Year” and "Top Hook" Award (1998) and is a Lifetime member of the Tailhook Association. In 2016, he received the ‘Key to the City’ from his hometown Gretna, LA. In 2018, Ken received the Harris Electronic Systems President’s Award for Orders Results.

Ken served in the US Navy as an Electronic Countermeasures Officer and held three (3) Command tours of increasing responsibility. He holds a Bachelor of Public Administration degree from the University of Mississippi and earned a Master’s Degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College. He holds a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from the University of Michigan, College of Engineering.
