Vice President & Deputy General Manager, BAE Systems

Ray Brousseau is vice president and deputy general manager of BAE Systems’ Electronic Systems (ES) sector. He leads a broad range of operations in support of the sector’s HEAT strategy, including facilities expansion and overseeing fulfilment of Human Capital and Achieving Operational Excellence goals. He assumed the role in July 2018.

Ray has nearly 32 years of experience in the defense industry, 24 of which have been with BAE Systems and its legacy businesses in various management roles. Most recently, he served as vice president of Engineering for ES. In this capacity, he led more than 5,000 employees focused on developing innovative and affordable engineering solutions and services.

He has also held positions as the chief engineer of the F-35 Electronic Warfare program, technical director of the Electronic Combat Solutions business, and engineering director of the legacy Survivability and Protection Systems business area.

Ray is a U.S. Air Force veteran and has a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

Ray serves on the Industrial Advisory Boards for the Francis College of Engineering at UMass Lowell and the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences (CEPS) at the University of New Hampshire. He is also a member of the Aerospace Industrial Association (AIA).
