Worth Chapter, 2020 STEM Scholarship Award Competition, Applications Available: January 06, 2020, Application Deadline: April 24, 2020.  High school seniors from Tarrant, Parker, Taylor, or Jones County Texas, who are attending college with degrees pursued in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) fields can apply for a scholarship from the Cowtown Crows.  Application to be posted to the website in January.

April 16 2020, AOC Presentation, LM Aero conference room TBA, Dr. Mike Ellis will present the History of AOC and Lockheed Martin

 

April 17 2020 - Tentative!, Dr. Garza, LMCO Fellow Mr. Ellis, Mr. Heaps, and Mr. Schup will provide EW Fundamentals, Part 1, to the Dyess AFB Cowtown Chapter Crows.  Part One is a half day course covering the fundamentals of EW.  Part Two will be a full day of hands on type demonstrations on various different types of EW measurement equipment (e.g. O-scopes, VNA, Spectrum analyzer, etc).  Part Two agenda will be based on the feedback from delivering Part One.  The content is based on the professional and real life experiences of active and retired LM employees who have had a significant amount of practical experience working in the area of EW.

 

April 24 2020, AOC Ft. July 12, 2019, AOC Ft. Worth Chapter visit with the Dyess AFB Chapter after the merge of the two chapters.  Dyess AFB tour, Abiliene, TX.

 

August 2, 2019, Dyess AFB Crows visit LMAERO Crows after the merge of the two chapters, LMAERO, 1 Lockheed Blvd., Ft. Worth, TX 76108.

 

August 9 2019, AOC Ft. Worth Chapter, 2019 Scholarship Award Luncheon, Spring Creek Barbeque, Three award recipients and their families were invited to attend the AOC Ft. Worth 2019 Scholarship Award Luncheon. Ms. Anna Thomas, a graduate of Timber Creek HS will attend South Dakota School of Mines and Technology with a degree in Biological Sciences. Anna was accompanied by her Mother sister; Mr. Sean Aujong, a graduate of LD Bell HS will attend University of Texas - Austin pursuing a degree in Computer Science. Sean was accompanied by his parents and younger brother. Ms Grace Flatten, a graduate of Aledo HS, will attend Texas A&M University in the Aeorspace Engineering program. Grace was unable to attend the luncheon. The awardees each received a $1000 scholarship towards the 2019/2020 school year.

Association of Old Crows (AOC), Feb. 22

The Association of Old Crows Fort Worth Chapter of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics welcome you to their annual Membership Drive on Thursday, Feb. 22 from 11:30 am– 1:00 p.m. at Spring Creek Barbeque Restaurant in Fort Worth located on Camp Bowie West (i.e. Hwy 80 West).  Our guest speaker will be Michael Borsch from  Rohde & Schwarz.

The Association of Old Crows provides a means of connecting members and organizations nationally and internationally across government, defense, industry, and academia to promote the exchange of ideas and information, and provides a platform to recognize advances and contributions in these fields.
