wrote on the Chapters: Cabrillo Crows wall: Hello folks. I am a former EW tech/operator stationed aboard a USS in the 7th fleet and 5th fleet AORs. I am a PM of a free space optics (FSO) tech that uses LEDs or lasers instead of radio waves to send/receive data. Our systems are in 4th generation with many products ranging from UV diver/UUV comms all the way to IR/NIR/SWIR/MWIR/LWIR surface communications. I am really looking to align FSO tech with EW missions and capabilities; that is to deny others use of spectrum will maintaining communications and being able to operate in denied environments. I would love to chat with you folks more about how I could introduce our tech to folks that would benefit from it!
