This course will provide a hands-on introduction to radar and a number of important EW concepts. Unlike other such courses, the emphasis will be on allowing attendees to perform experiments using an audio sonar to actually experience the effects and implications of various radar and EW concepts. So rather than only having abstract concepts such as Doppler ambiguities and their relationship to PRF explained in theory, attendees will be able to experiment with different target velocities and PRFs to see how they interact in practice. In this way, attendees will have the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the relevant concepts than would be possible with a purely lecture-based format.
Attendees are strongly advised to bring their own computers so that the relevant software can be set up on their computers and used after the course has ended. Speakers and microphones will be provided, and computers can be made available to attendees who are unable to bring their own computers.
*Prices increase to $1,500 for Members / $1,600 for Non-Members after 11/7/17

“Wish I had viewed this 35 years ago. Great Job!”
“This lecture is the best I heard for two decades!”
“Really good! But what made it so relevant was the examples provided.”
“Excellent and thought provoking.”
“Very interesting brief. Never would have thought about this issue without this brief.”
