Theme: Exploring the way forward in Collaborative EW: identifying technical paths, options, and potential opportunities
Topic 1: Collaborative EW Data - To function effectively in a collaborative manner among different EW systems, EW data must be received, processed, acted upon and reported out rapidly and accurately. Solutions must address not only legacy and future EW Systems but coalition systems as well.
Topic 2: Networked EW - To collaborate across a network of EW and other systems, solutions are required to connect legacy Data Linked systems with current and planned Data Link, IP based links, and Cloud based architectures. The EW network must prove resilient and interoperable in a contested and congested EMS environment, as well as provide the information assurance required to reliably transport trusted and secure data
Topic 3: Decision Aids - Warfighter EW decisions require relevant and timely EW information to visualize the current and predicted EMS environment. The warfighter needs to understand how the EW systems within the area of responsibility are achieving desired EW effects. For future self-healing autonomous EW systems, advanced decision aids are required to enable those systems to be efficiently and reliably integrated into the battlespace.
Topic 4: Warfighter Perspective - From Operation Allied Force to present day, lessons learned have highlighted areas where collaborative EW Data, Networked EW, and EW Decision Aids available to the EW warfighter were employed successfully.
