Call for Technical Posters

2010_logo_transparentThe AOC Poster Session will provide an excellent forum for authors to present their work in an informal and interactive setting.  Posters are ideal for presenting speculative, late-breaking results, or for giving an introduction to interesting, innovative work. Posters are intended to provide authors and participants with the ability to connect with each other and to engage in discussions about the work.

The poster session provides information about the applications, architecture, implementation, performance and security of electronic warfare and information operations.  Posters that present Work In Progress and draw important conclusions from practical experience are especially welcomed.

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Posters will be located in AOC Central outside of the General Session room.
  • Each presenter will have a 8’ wide by 4’ high board on which to attach their presentation with push pins (provided by AOC).  If needed, we'll also provide a small table for a laptop and/or handouts.  Please just let us know.
  • The posters are to be set-up on Sunday, October 3 between the hours of 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.  Or Monday, October 4 no later than 7:00 a.m.
  • Removal of the posters will be on Wednesday, October 6 between 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. AOC is not responsible for any materials left by the presenters.  Materials will be discarded if not removed by appointed time.
  • It is not required that you be present with your poster session the entire time; however it is strongly advised that at least one of the authors be available during exhibit hall hours in order to discuss the work being presented. Providing a time schedule of when you are available on your poster is recommended.
  • Suggestion - do not use Xerox paper for your presentation.  After a few days, the pages start to curl.  We suggest using a heavier stock paper.
  • Poster presenters do not receive a complimentary symposium registration; however you must stop by the registration counter to pick up a badge.
