*The military fee applies only to active duty military and the government fee applies to civilian personnel (not contractors) with a current government ID card. Military/Government ID cards must be presented at check in. 

Cancellation/Refund Policy
Conference cancellations must be submitted in writing with a copy of your registration form on or before August 10, 2010; telephone cancellations will not be accepted. Refunds will be issued minus a $75 administrative fee for all cancellations.  

CONFERENCE LOCATION 

The 12th Space Protection Conference will be held in the Phillip Conference Center, Building 201 located at Kirtland AFB. 

ACCOMMODATIONS 

The AOC has obtained a block of hotel rooms at the Albuquerque Grand Airport Hotel, 2910 Yale Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106.  Individuals can make reservations by calling (505) 843-7000 or (800) 227-1117.  Individuals must mention the AOC block to obtain the group rate of $81 per night. 

The deadline will be held until FRIDAY, August 6, 2010 to receive the special AOC rate.  Reservations received after August 6, are subject to the hotel's prevailing rate. 

DIRECTIONS 

From Airport to Hotel: The hotel is located conviently near the airport. Complimentary, 24-hour airport shuttle is available to/from the Albuquerque Grand Airport Hotel.

Driving Directions from Albuquerque International Sunport to the Albuquerque Grand Airport Hotel.

1. Start out going EAST on SUNPORT BLVD SE.

2. Take the YALE BLVD ramp toward CELL PHONE AREA / PARKING TERMINAL.

3. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto YALE BLVD SE.

4. 2910 YALE BLVD SE is on the RIGHT.

From Hotel to Base/Phillips Conference Center:   

If you have a CAC card or base pass, proceed straight through the Carlisle gate. 

If you do not have base access, turn left on Gibson and then right on Truman. Show your drivers license to the guards at the Truman Gate. Your name will be on the list. 

Take the first right onto Aberdeen Ave. Make a right onto Kirtland Drive. The Phillips Conference Center, Building 201, will be located on your left-hand side after the RV park. Parking is available at the building. 

From I-25-  

Take exit 222 and head east on Gibson Boulevard. Turn right onto Truman and proceed through the gate. Follow above directions.  

From I-40-

Head south on I-25 ** OR ** Take exit 161 and go south on San Mateo Boulevard. Turn right onto Gibson. Take an immediate left on Truman and proceed through the gate. Follow above directions.
 
It is strongly advised that you arrive early to the base due to heavy traffic flow.
