2nd Annual Professional Development Program March 16, 2010
Capitol Club started the New Year with a bang as we hosted a luncheon for General Richard Cody (ret). General Cody had been awarded the AOC Board of Directors Award for his distinguished career and his visionary support of Electronic Warfare. This event enabled the Board to make the award presentation and enabled the Capitol Club to hear the General speak about his experiences with EW from his vantage point as Vice Chief of Staff of the Army.
He described Task Force ODIN, and its integration of manned aircraft, UAVs and other technologies to tackle the IED problem.
For those who think of EW as a relic from the Cold War, General Cody enlightened AOC attendees to the leading edge role it plays in the current environment.
