AOC is set to release the AOC White Paper on "21st Century Electronic Warfare" by Robert Elder Lt Gen, USAF (Ret). The AOC's white paper on 21st Century Electronic Warfare (21CEW) is a comprehensive review of the US strategy to ensure US military superiority across the electromagnetic spectrum. 21CEW establishes a common understanding of the electromagnetic spectrum and sets forth a strategic framework that orients and focuses DOD electronic warfare activities in the areas of operations, intelligence, acquisition, EW business processes and training..." 

Date for release: Feb 23; as the cornerstone of the "Posturing 21st Century EW: Evolving roles in Spectrum and Cyber Warfare Conference"

Conference Overview: a first ever "AOC signature" event – an EW community designed conference in direct response to requests from senior military EW leaders and industry to address their roadmap issues in a strategic planning symposium.

Highlights of this conference include composite groups addressing;

- the introduction of the AOC white paper

- DARPA, OSD, and service Research labs focusing in on directed energy, cyber technologies, DRFM, sensors/shooters on the horizon

- ground breaking INDUSTRY led panel addressing their future concerns/issues with system standardization, platform integration and coalition interoperability

- long overdue discussions on leadership and workforce development across services as well as industry

- optional collateral session on Counter Space and EW, Cyber and EW as well as Stealth and EW

The "Posturing 21st Century EW: Evolving Roles in Spectrum and Cyber Warfare" conference, scheduled to be held at  Heritage Conference Center in Chantilly, VA, on February 23-25, 2010, has been organized in direct response to requests from senior military EW leaders and their EW industry partners to address roadmap issues in a strategic planning symposium.

Hotel accommodations have been arranged for AOC at Hyatt Place Chantilly, located at 4994 Westone Plaza, Chantilly, VA 20151. Call (703) 961-8160 to reserve a hotel room at the special rate of $129 per night, individuals must refer to AOC when making reservations in order to receive the special rate.  The cut-off date is February 12, 2010.  Reservations received after this date will be based on availability at the Hyatt's prevailing rate.
