Michael A. (Mick) Riley is a retired Air Force SMSGT. Mick is well known throughout the electronics defense community and has over 20 years experience in electronic warfare system development, acquisition, operational test and evaluation and sustainment. That experience encompasses twenty one years on active duty, five and a half years in industry, and the past four years representing T&M Equipment manufacturers to DoD.
Mick is a past director of the Eglin Chapter 89-92, where he established the National’s benchmark Enlisted Grant Program and a current BOD member of the Dixie Crow Chapter. Mick served on the National Board for 2 terms as Southern Regional Director (1995-2001) and chaired the Membership and National Educational Foundation committees three years each. During his terms he visited many of the local chapters, attended all the National Board meetings, National Symposiums and Capitol Hill Awareness events. Mick has been published in the Journal of Electronic Defense, and received National AOC Logistics Award.
Mick wishes to give a voice to the maintainers (both active duty and DoD civilians) at the National Level on sustainment issues. His platform will focus on reliability and maintainability of EW systems and support equipment. Mick wishes to continue his long time commitment to electronic warfare and the AOC and pledges to work hard and serve the members of the Southern Region at the National Level.
