Kermit Quick has served as an advocate and supporter of electronic warfare for over 40 years. His career as an electronic warfare officer and as a HQ USAF civilian staff officer displays his dedication to the discipline. As a Crow/Raven, he flew on B-52D/H and RC-135M/V aircraft, amassed 5000+ flying hours and completes 120 combat sorties during the Vietnam conflict. During his Pentagon duty, he led in the development of programs for the production and distribution of EW databases for international customer purchasing EW equipment from DOD Security Assistance.
Currently, as a direct-support consultant at SAF/IA and Navy IPO Weapons Divisions, he continues to manage the database support programs and looks to expansion of the program's customer base. His primary goal - to ensure EW systems sold through DOD Security Assistance maintain an operational edge in coalition operations.
An AOC member for 20+ years, Kermit initially dedicated himself to improving the operations of the organization through his affiliation with the AOC's Capitol Club. He was recognized nationally for his dedication with AOC certificates of merit in 2000 and 2001. He served on the Capitol Club's Board of Directors for six year and as its President for two years. Prior to becoming the President of the AOC, he served on the National Boared of Directors as a Regional Director and then Secretary. As the Association's Past President, he continues his dedication to the AOC, and has extended his energies to overseeing AOC activities, increasing membership and advancing the active participation by all members in AOC activities.
