Dave brings his career’s breadth of EW S&T experiences and perspectives of over 33 years to the AOC. Coming up through the EW ranks, Dave is currently the senior Technical Advisor of AFRL’s Sensors Directorate’s Applications/Demonstrations Division at Wright-Patterson AFB.

He provides leadership guidance for the Directorate’s broad EW/IO program – advocating, coordinating, and planning its proactive S&T portfolio in various USAF, tri-service and international forums/committees. Dave holds senior EW appointments, including US National Representative to The Technical Cooperation Panel; USAF Principal to the Technology Panel for EW; and was the Technical IPT leader of the OSD AEA AoA (2000-2002).

Dave is a long-time member of the AOC, having joined in 1979. He’s been active in many Kittyhawk Chapter efforts, including its scholarship, elections and awards programs; a revitalization of its community awareness function; running its “Kittyhawk Week” regional symposium for over a half-dozen years; election to its Board of Directors in 2000; and serving as Chapter President from 2001-2005. He has won several local Kittyhawk recognitions. In 2003, Dave was honored internationally with the AOC’s Executive Management Award at the Dayton Convention. He currently serves the AOC on the National Board as the 2007 Convention Chairman.

Dave is known and respected in his leadership role as a team player in USAF, DOD and international circles on technology issues requiring cooperation and commitment. His fundamental tenets of communication and teamwork will help the AOC navigate through the tough issues of future relevance, direction, proactive growth and reinvigoration of EW/IO.
