Lt Col (ret) Walter Wolf enlisted in the USAF in 1972, garnered an AFROTC scholarship in 1975 and graduated as an AFROTC distinguished graduate from the University of Colorado with a BSEE in 1977. Walter served as a research and development engineer at Hanscom AFB until earning his Navigator wings in 1980. Following assignment to Strategic Air Command as a B-52G/H EWO, he was an instructor at Strategic Air Command’s Central Flight Instructor Course (CFIC).

Lieutenant Colonel (retired) Joe “JJ” Johnson completed of the USAF Electronic Warfare Officer School in 1989 and has been an avid Old Crow ever since. He has over 20 years of USAF operational and staff experience on a variety of platforms spanning the end of the Cold War to transformational non-kinetic weapons in the Global War on Terror. His experience includes duties as a Tomahawk Ground Launched Cruise Missile (GLCM) Launch Officer, F-111F Weapon Systems Officer and two-tours flying the USN’s EA-6B Prowler as an Electronic Counter Measures Officer.

Mr. Kenneth "Kilo" Parks

Kenneth ‘Kilo’ Parks is a retired naval officer with more than 26 years of military operational experience. He is currently working as a Business Development Manager at ITT for Command and Control Systems and Datalinks. He has worked or led numerous programs, including FORCEnet Requirements and Assessments, Joint Force Maritime Component Commander (JFMCC) and Concept of Operations (CONOPS) for various EW and IO systems. Ken has led three EW/IO military commands; Information Warfare Center, Electronic Attack Squadron 129 and Electronic Attack Squadron 139.

Paul "PJ" Westcott is the Director of Engineering – Dayton Operations for Mercer Engineering Research Center (MERC). He served 36 years in the U.S. Air Force at the Air Force Research Laboratory Sensors (previously Avionics) Directorate at Wright-Patterson AFB OH. His last position with the Air Force was as Division Chief of the Sensor Applications and Demonstrations Division, the organization responsible for technology transition to the war fighter. He was a senior member of the technical staff at SAIC in Dayton from 2003-2007.

Linda Palmer has been a member of the Fort Worth, Lafayette, and Capitol Club chapters, and is now in the newly reactivated Rebel Roost. Linda joined COLSA Corporation in Huntsville, Alabama, to build an integration testbed for communications and sensor payloads on High-Altitude platforms for the Army’s Space and Missile Defense Command in Huntsville. She lives in Athens, Alabama.

An Air Force dependent who lived in eight different states as he was growing up, Rick Morgan graduated from Alamogordo, Alamogordo, NM, Senior High in 1974 and was selected for a Naval ROTC scholarship to the University of Missouri. He graduated from Mizzou in 1978 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and entered the Navy, where he earned his "Wings of Gold" in early 1980. Rick subsequently flew more than 2,500 hours and almost 500 carrier landings in A-3 "Sky Warriors".

Michael A. (Mick) Riley is a retired Air Force SMSGT. Mick is well known throughout the electronics defense community and has over 20 years experience in electronic warfare system development, acquisition, operational test and evaluation and sustainment. That experience encompass twenty one years on active duty, five and a half years in industry, and the past four years representing T&M Equipment manufacturers to DoD.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, CWO3 William “Buck” Clemons joined the Army at 18. After a tour in Germany as an M-1 mechanic, he attended Army flight school. As an AH-1 Cobra pilot, he was assigned to Fort Hood, Texas, completed AH-64A transition and was assigned to the 82d Airborne Division. There, he finished his Bachelors degree and went on to tours in Korea, Fort Carson, Colorado, and back again to Korea.

For the past five years, Steve Umbaugh has supported the Air Force Research Laboratory Sensor Applications and Demonstrations Division (AFRL/SNZ), WPAFB, OH as a DoD Research Contractor. A Defense Research Associates Inc employee (Beavercreek, OH), Steve has over 25 years in Joint/Combined, Service-specific, and Industry EW/IO systems research, development, and operations, and over 8 years experience developing unmanned system platforms, sensors, and associated simulation systems (MUSE/AFSERS).

Lt Col Jesse Bourque is the Chief of Staff for the Joint Electronic Warfare Center, the Department of Defense’s EW Joint Center of Excellence. “Judge” served for 15 years as an Electronic Warfare Officer in and associated with the Air Force Special Operations Command. Most recently, Judge served as Chief of EW in OIF, or Director, Electronic Warfare Coordination Cell, Multi-National Corps Iraq, immediately followed by his first posting to Joint Service in the JEWC in November 2006.

Mr. Amoroso is the Director of the Northeast region of the AOC, which includes the Northeastern United States and all of Canada. Mr. Amoroso is also the President of the Patriots' Roost (AOC), with responsibility for the Southern New England area. In his 20 year involvement with the AOC Mr. Amroso has been chairperson of various activities and committees, including chairing symposia at the chapter, national, and international level.

Wes started his career in Electronic Warfare (EW) in 1972 via a series of assignments within the us Air Force. First as an operational F-4C Wild Weasel Electronic Warfare Officer, and later flying the F-4G Advanced Wild Weasel aircraft, he gained a great appreciation for the capabilities and limitations of EW systems employed by US combat forces.

Mr. Douglas Swoish has served in the EW/IO arena since 1979. Mr. Swoish is currently an EWP IPT Program Director in Industry and working on many systems, the EA-6B ICAP III, EA-18G, and future others. In the past Mr. Swoish has had 3 EW/IO military commands: (EA-6B) Electronic Attack Wing US Pacific Fleet; CO, Electronic Attack Squadron 129; and CO, Electronic Attack Squadron 138, while also working many EW/IO issues at the Pentagon.

Vince Battaglia has been a member of the EW community for most of his professional career. Starting as a design engineer and moving through various management positions he has made numerous technical and leadership contributions to the companies he worked for, the military services that they served and to the Old Crow Association that he supported.

Mr. Giesler’s contributions to the Information Operations (IO) and Cyber Operations fields began in 1980 with development and management of unique capabilities directed against strategic targets; participation in the first Information Warfare Net Assessment panel in 1995; and continuous participation in Joint IO Campaign Plans as either a planner or capabilities provider between 1990 and 2007.

Kermit Quick has served as an advocate and supporter of electronic warfare for over 40 years. His career as an electronic warfare officer and as a HQ USAF civilian staff officer displays his dedication to the discipline. As a Crow/Raven, he flew on B-52D/H and RC-135M/V aircraft, amassed 5000+ flying hours and completes 120 combat sorties during the Vietnam conflict. During his Pentagon duty, he led in the development of programs for the production and distribution of EW databases for international customer purchasing EW equipment from DOD Security Assistance.
