Mr. Paul Westcott
Paul "PJ" Westcott is the Director of Engineering, Dayton Operations for Mercer Engineering Research Center (MERC). He served 36 years in the U.S. Air Force at the Air Force Research Laboratory Sensors (previously Avionics) Directorate at Wright-Patterson AFB OH. His last position with the Air Force was as Division Chief of the Sensor Applications and Demonstrations Division, the organization responsible for technology transition to the war fighter. He was a senior member of the technical staff at SAIC in Dayton from 2003-2007.
He has been involved with EW/IO for over 42 years. Paul is a life member of the AOC and recipient of the National AOC Lifetime Achievement Award, Silver Medal, Distinguished Service Award and AOC Technology Hall of Fame. He holds a BEE degree from the University of Detroit and master's degrees in engineering management and business administration from the University of Dayton. Paul assists the AOC as a frequent speaker and master of ceremonies for many local, regional and national events.
