The 52nd Annual AOC International Symposium & Convention is finally underway! It's been quite a whirlwind of a first day as attendees from around the globe are pouring into the Marriott Marquis and the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in preparation for the finest, most prestigious, and - in all honesty - the best (okay, maybe we're a
little biased) event for Eletromagnetic Warfare professionals. The AOC kicks off this year's event with tonight's 'Fire & Ice' welcome reception.

As attendees are telling stories with old friends, sharing exquisite refreshments with colleagues, and connecting with other EW professionals, the AOC is readying for its grandest undertaking of all time.
Ten prestigious keynote speakers will be delivering can't-miss presentations. There will be 12 sessions on topics that you can ill-afford to miss out on. Two professional development courses taught by industry experts are still taking registrants. 100 exhibitors are preparing a showcase of their top-of-the-line products and services. The STEM Outreach Program launches on Wednesday, ready to inspire a new generation of students to pursue EW careers (and become Crows).

That all must sound too good to be true. It isn't, and you can still be a part of it. Take a plane, hop a train, request an Uber, or use that experimental teleportation device that the general public is still not cleared to know about. The point is, it's not too late to register and attend this once a year event. You can register on site here at the convention. This event is free for uniformed, active-duty military, and government civilians with proper government ID.

Tomorrow, the AOC will honor Dr. Francis Klemm, the 2015 AOC Gold Medal Award winner. The Gold Medal Award is the highest honor that the AOC can bestow, and we proudly honor Dr. Klemm. We'll have an interview with him on tomorrow's Show Daily.

Follow @AOCrows and
