Today was another great day at the 50th Annual AOC International Symposium and Convention!

Closing Session and Keynote Address:  Major General Robert E. Wheeler, USAF

Major General Robert Wheeler, USAF, DoD Deputy Chief Information Officer, C4 & Information Infrastructure Capabilities, capped off the 50th Annual AOC International Symposium with a dynamic presentation addressing the impact of, and the role of, the EW community in the DOD’s efforts to deal with DOD/Commercial spectrum management allocation and management challenges.  Pointing out that we are transitioning from primarily dealing with counterinsurgencies to a potential “kicking-down-the-door mode” of military operations, General Wheeler identified a number of areas for attention to assure spectrum access for our fighting forces including:.... Tomorrow, U.S.-based crows will be heading to Capitol Hill to brief Congressional members and staffers on the importance of Electromagnetic Warfare. The *Capitol Hill Awareness Day (CHAD) kicks-off at 8:00 AM in B-354 Rayburn House Office Building on Capitol Hill. We will have an informal breakfast meeting from 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM before breaking into groups and heading to scheduled meetings.
