The Convention is off to a great start in Washington, D.C. beginning with the welcome reception this evening. Crows young and old from around the globe are converging on the U.S. Capital for the next 4 days of jam-packed symposium sessions, fantastic networking opportunities, engaging industry displays from over 95 companies in the Exhibit Hall, and critical advocacy efforts on Capitol Hill.      Tonight, the AOC has the privilege of honoring Air Chief Marshal Sir Stuart Peach with its highest and most prestigious award - The AOC Gold Medal. It is presented to a senior U.S. or International Government, Military, or Industry Official in recognition of outstanding and dedicated service to promote and advance the discipline of Electronic Warfare. It reflects the highest standards of commitment to the welfare of Electronic Warfare. Air Chief Marshal Sir Stuart Peach is a well-deserving recipient. You can hear comments from him in the video highlights above.

Tomorrow, the Symposium kicks into high gear with a keynote address from:

The Honorable James Clapper, Director of National Intelligence
"Intelligence Integration - Past, Present and Future"

This dynamic keynote is followed by 10 informative symposium sessions led by the forerunners in Electromagnetic Warfare. This is one agenda not to be missed!

On Thursday morning, after the conclusion of the symposium, U.S. based crows will be converging on Capitol Hill to meet with Congressional staff to discuss the importance of Electronic Warfare and a strong defense of the Electromagnetic Spectrum. Participants will be teamed up with folks visiting their own representative's offices, and the offices of Congressional representatives in EW centers of gravity.
